  • Long focal length weather

    The village is 8km away as the crow flys. Not that I have seen them fly in that direction.

      in the first I like the vertical transition from warm to cool to warm colours and the way the long focal length emphasises the horizontal lines. Nice sunset in the second with the rays and the diagonal line of trees. You must have had clear air for these.

        They were taken about the same time the second a bit later. The fact that it had just rained and was clearing in the first shot meant the air was very clear and there were some clouds left for the sunset.

      Your walls must be filling up with all these lovely photos Hans. Like many others, I love a good sunset shot and like most of us - as I see it - it's all downhill from here
