playing with the scroll bar and removing the top 1/2- of the image gives a lovely w-i-d-e pano-like image which to me makes it look 'real beaut mate'

It makes you feel more connected to the vinyard I feel. Chopped it to the LH tree is that about where you had in mind?

I think it's a fabulous image Hans! I'd only take some off the top and just remove the 1/2 tree on the left. Perhaps be creative and add some fluffy clouds (good test for my cloud brishes!).
This is a crop 1024 x 483. I added a bit of colour to the sky with a B&W gradient (set to overlay), lifted the shadows slightly and boosted the foreground colours with a HS layer.

That cellar looks a lot neater than my collection under the stairs. It is missing a few bottles though.
