  • Nine second handheld long exposure

It is getting to the point where it almost seems a waste to take a camera out when most people have a phone anyway
    iPhone 11 SOOC
There is no way I could take a nine second hand held shot with a camera, any camera regardless of how good the inbuilt stabilisation is.

The new Canon R5 has 4 stops of IS combined with 4 stops on a IS enabled lens. The use of a wide angle lens must get pretty close. Be fun checking it out. But it is getting obvious that the days of big heavy cameras are drawing to a close. Can you imagine each pixel being an image you stich together to form the image size and quality you need.
This was 1/13 at 200mm hh without the 4 stops in body. F2.8 iso 6400 Click image for larger version

Can you take a nine second hand held exposure with any camera and lens combo and have it come out sharp? That is a 117 times longer exposure than the one above.

Don't know but I am willing to try it if you help buy me a new R5 The body is only a bit over $6000 in expensive OZ.

Besides you can't hold the phone steady either it takes a video and a bit of trickery that I'm sure that they can add as an upgrade to a new camera if it was something deemed popular and salesworthy.
