Better a full bottle in front of me

    G'day Hans

Yep - that-there damn smoke ain't goin anywhere in a hurry

Across on the coast, although "our" local fires have been out now for 7-10 days, the smoke is still hanging around and via the breeze, comes and goes at all hours. The sun each afternoon and morning is a rich orange colour, often visually impeded by what looks like heavy cloud, but I think it's smoke haze

re- your pic ... I know that you've inserted the sun for impact, but what would the bottom half look like with a bit of lightening? could it show some of the heavy smoke haze fading to the distance?

    Phil

Looks pretty frightening Hans. I hope the fires stay away and all you get is the smoke. I thought I'd help out by following Phil's suggestion and added some "lightning" to the image.

That looks quite exiting. About the only thing I would do is show the lightening in a bit more haze as it seems a light.
