I went bush bashing today with a few of the members of the 4WD club I'm in. We drove around the Marysville area for half a day and there are still signs of the terrible fires that raged throughout Victoria in February 2009.

#2. The view from the Mt. Gordon fire tower. The guy on duty was kind enough to let a few of us up into the tower to get some photo's. You can still see so much dead timber on the mountains in the area.

#3. Another view from the Mt. Gordon fire tower. Some of the motley crew I was traveling with. Sorry for the distortion, an 8mm lens will do that. There were no stretched 4WD's on this trip .

Wow 8mm does distort a bit John. Lovely photos and good to see the regrowth happening.
