Went out yesterday as there was a few medium clouds about and thought I might get a little be of reflection in the sunset.

These are the colours I was hoping for that I captured quickly turning away from the subject I was after.

But the actualy subject I was after was the old farm buildings at Bella Vista. Unfortunately the area is fenced off and on a hill top. So from one side you look straight up to the hilltop with nothing but clear sky beyond. The other side I could only get so close. Threaded the tripod through the fence and then passed the camera to myself over the fence. Long story short couldn't get the position I wanted so couldn't get the composition I wanted.

Being on the hillside and looking up the hill, those medium clouds were barely visible between the buildings and trees.

These are the buildings I was after but just couldn't get into a position I liked.

I did create a 4 image panorama That I might upload later but really it's nothing special either.

Finding the right composition when your movement is limited doesn't help.

That water tower was just an example of the colour about Hans. I was trying to get into a position to capture the old farm buildings with that same colour but couldn't get it done.

I love the colours in the first image and can see what you were trying to achieve. Unfortunately nature, and man (fence) conspired against you. Better luck next time.

Beautiful photos Todd. Colours are amazing. You'll gave to disguise yourself as a farm animal or tree next time.

I got around to stitching a 3 image panorma. I think it works better than the previous single images but still not 100% what I was after.
