A Himba woman. One of four wives.

Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

      Both well captured Hans.
Great use of focal length and aperture in #2.

The balloons came from the depression with the trees. Sun barely over the horizon

This would definitely be a place to come back to with a couple of photo nutters. Balloon ride would be on the cards. It is an amazing landscape I have posted pictures of the dunes previously.

That last one is rather spectacular Hans. All great images and the colours are great. The second and third are also very good. The second one - I'm loving the wonderful layers and those balloons in the third really add to the image. Well done mate!

It is surprising how many of these were taken from a moving vehicle. Reason for a lot of casualties.

Above and below the horizon were treated differently in pp but one picture.

The secretary bird was F4 at 200mm 1/1000 sec iso 100 on Canon 60D I don't remember being stopped.

I placed a couple of pictures on facebook including the Himba lady in #1. It took about a minute for the censorship to kick in. They didn't like me abusing the sensibility of their audience.

Too bad social media isn't so fast to act on pro terrorism activity. I'd rather see your Himba lady than a some idiot shooting up a mosque any day.

You beat me to it John - my sentiments exactly. Hans I think the zebra shot is really cool !

Yet another brilliant series of images from Namibia Hans, thanks for sharing. I have to agree with Isac, the zebra shot is stunning.
For anyone with Netflix there is a series called Tales By Light, well worth watching. Here is a trailer for the series two episode shot in Namibia.

That looks so good. I also notice I have an image with the dead trees and the path going up the sand hill. Makes it very real.
