There are many cannons here. The smaller ones are used as bollards and are everywhere.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Good work Hans. No detail on the canon so I assume it was the silhouette you were going for. It's difficult to see if it's cloud or spray from a wave crashing, To me it's an optical illusion. (PS - horizon's a bit off).

Another good pic Hans, lovely POV. Perfect for you to drop in a nice blue sky!

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

It was a silhouette I was going for and the sea spray just blended ito the clouds. I found the effect interesting. Bluesky is a definite possibility.

I'm loving you night time images Hans.
What sort of laptop are you traveling with and what editor are you using? I'm asking because I'm thinking of updating my dinosaur Lenovo for either an Apple MacBook, HP Touchscreen or a Microsoft Surface Pro.

Using my notebook Acer Aspire. I won't entertain Apple it's a personal thing from the past. It does make the carry on a bit heavy with the 70-200 as well at 10.2kg but so far have had little trouble getting it on the plane. I use photoshop but mainly just to get a reasonable picture. In some cases thats a raw convesion and a smart sharpen only.

Lovely night shots Hans. Enjoying your images so far. I'm with you on the Mac thing. I think they were a lot better at handling graphics than Microsoft in years gone by, but now I think MS has the edge. I'm loving the new Photoshop CC 2019 and Windows 10 Pro.
