Wow, that's a lot of K's, but it's not hard to do in The Kimberly, there's no shortcuts.
Did you go Sydney-Broken Hill--Tibooburra and then through the Simpson?

No I went across the bight. Up the coast. Into the Gibson and sandy deserts. Up though the Kimberly, down to Alice, across to Birdsville, Lightning Ridge and finished with a Darling River Run.

Nice shots of very pleasant looking places Todd. #2 and 3# look a little bright on my monitor. I wonder if they would look better just a tad darker, or it could be my monitor.

Very good images Todd. I was there a long time ago (I was 20) so don't recall too much. I love those colours, so vibrant. I agree with wigz about the brightness of #2 and #3 - only a bit though. Here's the difference with just a slight curves adjustment. I used Faststone for the edit.

Beautiful scenes Todd. I haven’t been over that way before, but your photos are making me want to go.
Your last 2edits still look a bit too bright to me, and the greens a bit too vivid or oversaturated. But if that’s how it looked on the day, and you are happy with it, then that’s what matters.
                    Cheers, Brad.

Thanks Brad. It was the contrast of the vivid green against the red rocks that drew me to both of these.

Hi Toddy, how long did you stay at El Questro for. I'm thinking of driving straight from Port Pirie to Ceduna and picking up 3 days which we could spend at El Questro. We probably won't do the GRR this trip.
Would you mind having a look at this post and giving some thoughts.
