I like the image Todd, but I find the close bush on the left and the larger part of the tree trunk a bit distracting. I would like to see it cropped so the horizon is lower in the frame and to lose the bush on the left so that your attention goes straight to the more interesting branches, and then drawn up to those great looking clouds.
    Cheers, Brad.

Thanks Brad. I actually tried deliberately to include butt those things. I really liked the wave pattern in the lower trunk. I take your point that it's distracting though.

Is this more what you had in mind?

Yes that’s exactly what I was thinking. But after seeing it and hearing your reasoning, I am in two minds. Be interesting to hear what others think.
        Cheers, Brad.

Cropping the bush from the left makes it stronger for me, but I don't mind the trunk in the front. I would try brightening the trunk in the foreground: it's hard to see the pattern on the tablet I'm using at the moment

Thanks Alan. Unfortunately I've already lifted the trunk and I think any further would make it grainy. It's not super dark on my screen though. I hope that's not just me.

It's not really dark, Toddy. I think part of the problem is the rather small screen on my tablet. It probably looks fine on a proper monitor.

I like it Todd. I think the only CC I would give is that I do like the cropped version but I would have liked to see more of the tree trunk in the foreground.

There you go Todd! Just a crop off the top to put the row of trees on the ROT and you have a lovely panno!
