The Port Welshpool Long Jetty is technologically significant as the only known curved wooden jetty in Victoria and among the longest remaining wooden jetties in Australia.

Stunning shot John - almost like HDR. We don't have much to brag about in WA but your jetty has reminded me that we do have the longest curved timber jetty in the world at 1841 metres.

Lovely image Isac. You do have a very nice jetty in Broome.

Never been there John, very expensive air fares in WA. You can fly to Bali for 1/4 of what the local fares are.

    G'day John

I note the 16:9 [or thereabouts] format ... I find that I am using it more & more for my landscapes too

Clouds are beaut - general layout seems beaut - the grass seems a bit 'odd' ~ was it that colour or did it jusy end up that way?

Thanks Phil. Late afternoon sun (yes we do get sun in Victoria...... sometimes) lighting up the grass and jetty. Camera was almost at ground level for this shot. Taken Jan 1 so the grass was very dry with a natural yellow colour.

Wouldn't like to walk the length of either of them in full scuba kit!
