  • Colours of Rudall Nat. Park

Nothing outstanding about the scene really but the colours are pretty special imho. Typical of Rudall and the inland Pilbara in general.

Beautiful Mick. the gap through the trees leads straight to the monoliths in the background.

I agree. Those colors are amazing.

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks guys. I love the white gums against that backdrop too.

Beautiful colours and long shadows - shame the sky wasn't a tad more blue to complement the oranges - but you can't have everything. Good excuse to go back

            G'day mate

The shadows suggest brekky time or thereabouts - and the cloudless sky does make it a bit harder to fill the top half of the image
ps: You could always ask Alan to borrow the sky & clouds from his rocky coastline shots above!!

Maybe a CPL would've helped here? I have one and am aware I don't utilize it enough.

More thought required with my landscapes, it's a much harder genre than I imagined.

And yep, I'll be going back as Rudall is almost in my backyard, kinda. Just down the road a bit in Kimberley speak.
