Well, it is great to see you back out where you love it Mick. I bet you feel a sense of relief to get out there again, it must be like returning home after a long absence. The tree looks like it has lived a very hard life and struggles to keep going. I can't wait to see more of your desert landscapes.

i'm not back out there yet Lloyd, still in Broome.
But will be hitting the road soon for a couple of trips. Got a little bit of casual work coming my over the tourist season and can't afford to let that slide.-----------------------------------------------------

Texture texture texture. A lot to like about the depth in this one Mick.

Thanks Todd. This was captured from the Sir Fredericks Range on the Sandy Blight track...just so you know.-----------------------------------------------------

Hi Mick, I was struggling a bit with this one. A little confused with the angles in the background conflicting with the way the blooms were hanging and the fact that I didn't spot the blooms until I'd spent quite a bit of time studying the image. (Just a bit busy)
For me a crop would have highlighted and framed the subjects better, but not having been there I'm not at all sure whether that's what attracted you to the shot in the first place.
Thanks for showing.. this is what I see.

Thanks for taking the time Greg, and I can see what you mean, it's busy all right!
With hindsight maybe I could've shot wider also.
At the time I saw the red rocky background with yellow grass, the greenery, the flower, gnarly branch, good light and as Todd mentioned, the textures. Kind of a mish mash of everything almost to the point where it's an abstract.
It ain't no wall hanger but it has a charm for me perhaps because of the location
Appreciate the comment and edit.
