Nice scene Greg. Are you game to fly over water yet?

I tend not to post many aerial shots as they are mostly not commented on, or some-one who knows little about the technology will have something very negative to say.
I find the shots most useful for an overview and illustration of an area when presenting a powerpoint on a relevant subject.
Last night I did a local natural history talk and show at the Maritime Center here in Devonport. I used four drone shots in the presentation to illustrate the areas and wildlife I spoke about.
It was received very well.

Yeah I'll admit it took me a while to become game enough to do it but now it doesn't phase me at all. Even low height above water.
I agree they provide a different perspective and sometimes quite a valuable one.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

I realize there are operators who misuse the equipment and disregard the regulations but that happens with cars and in goodness knows how many other activities.
I can see very much tighter restrictions on their use in the future with possible mandatory licencing of operators. How they would or could police that I don't know. It's a booming industry and money talks!
