            Don't recall pollution as in the river water. At this time of the year the river is shallow and is difficult to navigate. They only journey during daylight hours. i must admit that I don't have a favorite here.

                I was influenced by the 'dirty' sky colour in thinking it might have been pollution.

                  I think there may have been a little from cooking fires? i was told it wasn't pollution but morning mist. There was a fair bit of it in parts of India like Agra. The mist tended to clear away after a few hours of sunshine.
