          The weather is such that you only need to be out of the rain. This was "winter" and I didn't need anything other than a t shirt. It is strange that their palaces and houses were made from wood but the religious monuments are made from brick. Every family had a monument, the more money you had the bigger the monument.

            Amazing contrasts Hans. The humpie on the top of the bank was probably built by someone with a bit more intelligence perhaps? Unless the humpie turns into a raft and moves to a new location when the water rises.

              But that much further to get to your boat. We went through one town where the houses were cut in half. It was explained to me that people had built them on gvt land with no permission and the road was being widened. I have a picture somewhere.
