Beautiful images HansE. You do have a way of presenting wonderful landscapes and you've captured the true essence of these areas with these two images.I Shoot A Canon

I carry the camera in its wetsuit cover like a stubby holder for cameras. and than it is in a tank bag or a box in the back. Nothing would happen to it if the bike fell over. The treat of falling off is what adds the spice when riding a bike. Most of the time you don't. Surviving about 60 years of it. I don't see any excitement in riding a jetski, so you fall into the water?? I would like to come this way again in the 4wd bring a bit more gear.

Oh that's just Gold isn't it? Very clever to crop out the crowd like that. Crop off the bottom would be OK, but I reckon a bit of lightening of the floor above the sign to show some texture and lighten up the Bistro Open sign. Maybe that would give it a boost. Just IMHO.Last edited by Isac; 21-11-2017, 06:27 PM.I Shoot A Canon

Redone! I made 4 copies by using "apply image and screen blend" as the original was quite dark. Then used the HDR function and the transform/skew function to straighten the post/windows.cropped some off the bottom selected the blackboard and increased the contrast finally changed the mode to lab color and sharpened the lightness channel about 500% returned to RGB and reduced the image to 690 pixels on the long side.
I think it looks quite real.

Excellent job Hans!. You do seem to have quite a big workflow to achieve the result. I'd love to have a crack at it, if you don't mind sending me the original? Email will be OK.I Shoot A Canon

I had a play and here is my workflow. This is only my way and others will probably do it differently. I have a "Subtle Shadows Adjustment" action on my website on the "Enhancing Actions" download button. It works by tapping "F3" on a selected layer as many times as you like until you get the desired look. F3 can be changed or removed as you wish by editing the action options. (Clicking on a blank part of the action title, will bring up the options dialogue box). If further explanations is needed, let me know
1: Shadows Adjustment
2: Lens Correction
3: New layer of the "Bistro now Open" sign. This will just brighten up the wording a bit.
4: Exposure Adjustment on "Bistro now Open" sign.

Very frustrating I think I will start replies in a text editor and cut and paste them (auto save just came on but you can't use it as it jumps to another part of the site when it comes up after you reopen)Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.

I have lost the thoughts I had from the previous lost postings. I do like the result I got on the light boxes.I like the paving on your edition. There are a number of different ways to achieve the result fun isn't it?Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.
