Same sunset I see not that far from me. A goanna used to come and clean up the scraps off the antheap when I was building the house. The blue heeler used to have a tussle with them later and they stopped coming around.

Always get jealous of your sunset Hans. Glad I got to see one for one night at least.
I love big lizards. Always have.

got a lace monitor on my wollemi trip too. one day he was skinny, next day a large bulge in the belly. bit more skittish than your one by the looks of things
