Feel as if I have been there now. I take it this is a local walk for you?

Thanks you 2. We are quite blessed to have a lake (albeit a small one) to visit , walk the dog and take the camera to. Our shire (Kalamunda) have done a fantastic job to turn it into a lovely area with kids play park, huge grassed grounds and great limestone walkways that meander through the area. I'm midway between 2 lakes so I can take my pick.

wish I had decent stuff close by. our local park now has a bike track thru it and is heavily trafficed by bikes and walkers. we have council workers cut down the raptor trees too. all in all not good anymore

We are lucky I guess, our lakes are pretty quiet as far as traffic an noise is concerned. But no doubt that will all change in the course of time.
