Early morning Rural

The creek just down the road. With the Sigma lens. A bit of frost and mist adds to the atmosphere. Canon 60D 128mm 1/200 f6.8, iso 320

It certainly is misty HansE, very rural indeed. Lots of space for you to walk about in and get wonderful shots like this one. Love the cows just doing cow stuff and how they maneuvered themselves onto the top 1/3rd line! Amazing.

I must confess to spending a lot of time getting those cows to wait for me there. I think it was worth the effort. I am actually standing on the side of Lue road. Having seen the result I am now a bit disappointed that I didn't take a whole swag of shots with the new lens as well.

Interesting effect of the mist over water. Are you able to take a bit more out of the highlights, it just seems a wee bit over cooked to me. Beaut composition though.

Used both curves and highlights adjustments and it has improved it a bit. Huge dynamic range with the backlit ice and mist.
