Something special Greg. I think we need to see more.

Thanks Isac. I have more of course but with you the only one showing any interest in my posts, I feel they're a bit wasted here.

It's a sad thing Greg. It seems to be a bit of a trend and there's not much we can do about it.

      G'day Greg

Yes mate - drone images are becoming very numerous these days as the equipment gets easier to use and less expensive to buy
The shot is a good representation of the headland - nice one

Thanks for the comment Phil. They may be numerous, but no less valid.

I think I've seen that lighthouse in your photos before Greg. How high were you here? I'd guess maybe 30-40m?

Yes it's a photogenic spot around Devonport, it get's a bit of attention. I'm guessing about 40 metres. I didn't check the altitude before taking the shot and I normally limit it to 75 metres and wasn't that high.

One of my daughters requested I get some shots from around the lighthouse and rocks as it was a favorite 'hang out' for her when she was younger.

        Thanks for the comment.

It's got me curious Greg. I'd love to see different altitudes and different angles. Looks like a great spot.

Haven't done a lot down there yet Toddy as it's actually on the flight path to the Devonport airport so need to be careful.

Here's a few more, I can't remember whether I've shown them before or not. Click image for larger version

          The last one looks familiar.

Flying in a controlled airspace has the chance of not ending well...

True, we've got 5 km radius to stay clear of. I'm pretty sure the Bluff is outside that but I'll need to work it out to be sure. By limiting my altitude and flying when there's not much going on, I try to stay out of trouble.

I really like that 2nd one Greg with the rocky cliffs.
There's a couple of apps you can download to tell you if it's safe to fly where you are.
