Massive tides in this area (around 6 metres I think) so large expanses of wet sand and mangroves are part of the territory.

Sadly I missed the opportunity to photograph the fullmoon setting. Would have loved to see how it looked on the sand like this.

    Beautiful Light and Depth

I was wondering where you were.

You didn't happen to come across a loose cannon up there?

really like the top shot. not sure it needs the bottom third or so. feels way stronger to me as a pano with the dark stuff missing. overall I dont think it adds anything to the shot..

      good work

I did play with a crop and agree it looks nice, but thought the story of the large expanse of wet sand was lost when I did that.

Lovely tones in # one. I would not crop more than a little off the bottom as you are conveying the size of the beach as well. Wouldn't take anything off at all, if the full size version shows some detail in the dark foreground. The couple are required for eyes to travel. I like adding little people so that they are not so obtrusive.

Thank you for that comment, Hans... I think you understand what I was trying to convey.

#2 for me. Because it's a pretty rare thing to see for us average types who don't get up there to see it.

I would call you far from average Isac. But thank you for feedback.
