The drone was at 34 Metres altitude about halfway between me and the lighthouse. I was waiting for the Spirit of Tasmania to leave port so I could get that in nice light with the lighthouse too, but it was late leaving and I missed getting it.

Ha the ol' planing around boat movments, I hear your pain. I'm working on a shot myself that depends upon boats and tides, just need them all to align then I'll be happy (I hope )

Thanks all, having a bit of fun with it. Sent it out over the sea tonight to take video of the Julie Burgess (ketch) coming back in the river in a swell... must admit I was a bit nervous but it went well.
