  • Down at the Creek

I went for a walk down to my creek late yesterday arvo, and shot a few pics. Last night I chose about 5 to PP, but when I went back through them today, this one called out to me for some reason, so I gave it a few tweaks.
We are in a valley, so the sun disappears early but the clouds above still have full sun on them, which can make exposing correctly a bit difficult. I have deliberately left the scene looking a bit dark to reflect how it was down there at the time.

Looks really good Brad. Peaceful too. Nothing wrong with that exposure, it suits the ambiance of the place.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

First time I have taken one of these shots, but thought I would give it a try while I was down there....

Thanks Bill. I was a bit worried that the 1/3rd second shutter speed might overdo it a bit, but it seems OK.
