  • Through the heat haze

On a steamy hot +40c day I decided to shoot across a barren paddock with the 400mm lens to see if I could capture the heat haze.

Worked out better than I thought it would! Quite chuffed with the result to be honest.

Cheers Todd, better to go with what Mother Nature offers then try to fight it.

Has a very soft ethereal look about it. I wouldn't necessarily picked it as heat haze had you not told me it was but it works well.

Like the hazy bits even more than the sharper bits. Nice capture.

I don't think I've see a picture of heat haze before - good idea and well executed
