  • Fiery Sunrise

    One from earlier this year. I walked up the track to the top of the point in the dark. It was worth it.

    looks good. think you could milk plenty more from this also. perhaps saturation on the sky, some contrast...........

      Beautiful sky - horizon a bit central and lots of water - maybe more of the interesting sky would have been worth a shot?

        Thanks Stephen and Alan. I was trying to include some foreground in that shot. I took a few shots over about an hour, although the best colour only lasted about fifteen minutes.. Here's a couple more. One a bit earlier:

        I also took some the next morning although there wasn't the same amount of colour.

            The early ones have more appeal to me. I thought the foreground land didn't contribute much to the shot. The foreground cropped helps too and has the bonus of moving the horizon from the centre
