  • Whitehaven

    The calendar I'm doing for next year will feature the Whitsundays, both over and under the water. This is one of the most photographed beaches in the country.

    A beautiful addition to your calendar

    Have thought about doing a calendar for the past couple of years ... have yet to put thought into practice

      Thanks Barb. I do one every year for the family. Makes for a nice Chrissie present which lasts all year.

        looks a nice place to be. does look over saturated to me though. comes down to personal tastes I guess
        but I reckon the sky overpowers this shot. could probably crop some of the sky out too. I think the lines lead better through the shot with less sky and pulls the shoreline off the centre of the image, which probably strengthens up the composition

          To each his own. It's very much the way I remember it. A spectacular contrast between sky and sand.

          The format is to suit the calendar page size.

            Beautiful shot. I agree with Stephen about the sky, but fair enough if that fits the calendar.
