    Living up to it's name

Very nice photo. Liking the colour and composition. I can't see the EXIF, so not sure of the shutter speed and why some tree fern fronds are blurred - just windy and dark I'm guessing.

Shutter speed .8 of a second.

Waterfalls tend to generate their own wind and any ferns in front of will almost always show some movement if there is a strong water flow..

I like the water movement, and a nice pov in this.
It has a restful softness about this that works well... I can just about smell the forest.
The green tree fern is a lovely vibrant shade that creates a nice forground interest.
Shame it didn't hold still for you.

I like the soft light, colours and the water. Unusual colour of the water in the falls. The water in the falls looks good, not too sharp and not too milky smooth. I can't help feeling I want to push the foreground fern off to the side a bit, although the colour makes a nice contrast to the falls.

Thanks for all the comments.. I do have a few more shots from the day I'll put up later. I don't mind that bit of movement showing in some of the ferns. It's realistic as that's what you get.
