          light can certainly change very quickly. good moody clouds will almost always lift a landscape.
          I think the bright bit in the 2nd shot could be cloned over or something as it grabs the eye and probably pulls it from the rest of the great colours etc

            Both good shots Paul. Really is fast changing around that part of the day. The water tanks are on a bit of a lean but all in all nicely done. Avkomp is right about the white section in #2, but easily fixed.

              I like the colours in #1, but the clouds and foreground in #2 look great.

                I don't believe in too much manipulation it is only white cloud the sun had gone down long ago. as fo the tanks they were in a heap of rubbish and at a lean the horizon is straight so the tanks are in their natural position.
