  • Coles Bay, Tasmania.

My wife and I spent 3 days down at Coles Bay recently. Lovely place, however the weather was rather inclement and not conducive the great photography. This is probably my best shot.

If you got a shot like that Greg, it was all worth it. I like the horizon close to the centre, it just works. Sometimes the ROT doesn't need to be followed to get a great image.

I think it works because the rocks in the foreground are a bit "in your face".

I think it works very well because there are 4 distinct horizontal layers .......... and yes, the colour of the rocks work a treat ..... well done John
