      A nicely composed scene.

        Thanks Brad.
This happened after a trip to Sheffield hoping for a snow shot of Mt. Roland. Unfortunately the cloud didn't lift and that idea was put on the back burner. On the way home I could see a bit of colour developing in the sky so then it became a bit of a 'race' to find a better place than the dashboard of the car to capture the moment! Just managed to get to the shoreline before the sun also disappeared completely. Sometimes it's the story behind the shot as much as the shot itself.

Count me in. I like it too.

I like the light, and the dark brooding atmosphere created. The sun all but gone means no ugly hot-spot, which is a nice change. Beaut color too from very effective processing.

The foreground, the surf, the delicately colored clouds all make for a great scene expertly captured.
          Charles

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks Charles, was this close to missing it all together!
