  • Scenic Flight over Perth and the Coast.

I took a scenic flight with 2 friends on Wednesday and these are a few of hundreds of photos taken while I was mostly looking down.

#1 - Cessna 172 (engine upgraded to a 200) so as not to strain with a heavy load! Click image for larger version

    Thanks for the look about.

Took a few from the plane on the way home from Qld, but none good enough to show!

Thanks for looking Greg. I've flown from Cairns to Brisvegas and took a few shots myself but nothing like these. There's plenty more on my website.

Never been to Perth, so I found your photos interesting Isac. Thanks for showing. Nice touch with the book too
    Cheers, Brad.

Nice set - do you have access to PS Dehaze? Agree, the book is a nice touch

I don't have Dehaze but I use a plug-in from Kolor called Neutralhazer on my JPG files. It suits me pretty well and I don't dehaze a lot - I like to leave it hazy for authenticity because it's usually only on the horizon. I should shoot raw more often I suppose - although I always use raw when I shoot a wedding. I will have a look at PS Dehaze though. Thanks for the heads up. I'll post a comparison using Neutralhazer.

Thank you Ironwood. Perth is a very small city as opposed to the eastern cities but it has a peaceful feel and very friendly people.

2 comparison photos after only using Kolor Neutralhazer. No other tools were used. It seems to work OK. I haven't seen the PS Dehazer yet. Click image for larger version

Cheers Greg. I don't mind using it but I think the haze is just part of the landscape and only play with it if it's really spoiling the photo.
        Working...
