    Lovely composition Bill.

The tree on the right fills up the bland sky. Back light means that the white wall and fence are not going to blow out. The fence and gate give a nice line across the foreground.

I'd maybe consider burning the foreground grass and path a bit?

    Cheers
    Alan

I'll simply agree with Alan's comments.

Tone down that foreground and the image will go up a notch or two

Beautiful scene Bill and lovely framing. If you'd like to have a play in LightZone, this is what it can do. A couple of screen grabs - before and after. I don't know how it displays on others monitors but look OK on mine.

Think the re-edit looks a little too overexposed now. Perhaps after the lift in shadows the whole scene needs a little darkening.

It's an interesting building Bill and I like the way the stonework on the entrance foyer is left as is while the rest is whitewashed.

I've got to agree Greg after having a good look at it here. Lightzone is still a great Lightroom alternative for free and it can do some amazing things
