  • Australia Day Bushwalk

Went for a walk down to Mermaids Pool on Australia Day. The sun was against me but still a great day out.
The longer exposure shots are all hand held.

What a great place to relax and take a few photos. Lovely bush colours and the people help with the scale. Just enough "milky" look in the last.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks ISAC. I think i was around 1/10 shutter from memory. The water was flying through there. Almost lost a mates dog over the falls when he slipped in. Grabbed him at the last moment.

Beautiful location with plenty of potential. Take a few ND filters and tripod next time.. Hope the drink can is not still there.

I had the tripod but could not set it up with a decent angle.
The can came home with us. Don't normally drink beer while hiking but it was Australia day so had a couple of sneaky ones.
Working...
