My Creek

This little creek runs through my property, my house is up on top of the bank.
We had a bit of rain last week which just dirtied it up, it needs a good flush out, about 300mm of rain would do it nicely.

Nice to have your own creek. I love the story with great images as well. Perhaps a flood would be a good fix to clean it up. (I have a couple of creaks but nothing to do with water)

Yes, I love my creek, its refreshing and soothing to just go down there and sit for a while.
Its been a while since we had a good rain event, 300mm of rain would put 3 meters of depth through here for a day until it dropped back down, cleans it up nice.

I know all about those creaks of yours Isac, got a couple of those myself .

Beautiful property and creek!. My sister has something similar in SE Qld and it regularly gets "cleaned out" as they get flooded in. Will be there next week.

I am very fortunate to own this small slice of paradise. I will post some more photos after we get some decent rain, hopefully we will get some this year, we have had an abnormally dry couple of years so a decent wet season would be welcome.

What a delightful front or back yard you have and can imagine how nice it would be to just sit ad enjoy the peace and quiet next to your creek. Hopefully you will get the 300mm needed - I think there are a lot of areas which would welcome some decent rain.
