  • Dusk at Hervey Bay

I remember watching a CC session on You Tube by Scott Kelby and Matt Kloskowski and on one photo they said 'it's impossible to take a good photo of a dead tree'. But something about them and their shape always fascinates me and sometimes there is nothing else to use as foreground interest.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Sounds to me Scott and Matt could do with a few lessons.

Lovely image Gabby, I'd be tempted to evict the post in foreground but other than that all is good.

Agree with Mick - I'd apply a digital chainsaw to the post.

I think the pole should stay! Birds sit on them all the time.

Show off! Very effective Isac and love what you've done to its eye.

Thank you P Plates, I love doing editing work as you probably know and I am extremely humbled by comments of appreciation from all members. This forum has been the driving force for me to learn as much as I can about photography and I hope I can reciprocate in the field of editing. I do however get the most joy by doing restoration work on damaged photos. Cheers.
