Murphy's law when travelling Mick. Always at the best scenes at the worst time of day for photography. Gordon reckons, next trip, we should stay at each place a minimum of 1 week to try and get good light.

Who knows? Maybe they've all heard of it! I use it all the time and I reckon it's one of the best papers around, especially the Smooth Pearl 300gsm.

That sounds about right Mark and thanks for a more detailed description of where we were. So many photos and we just forget exactly where they were taken sometimes.

Nice detailed photo on what appears to be a naturally gorgeous place.
Lots of clarity from the front all the way to those lovely clouds..

I find rivers like this quite tricky to compose as it's hard to find a focal point despite being surrounded by beauty.

Thanks Jo. I agree - would have liked that little log and plant on the right as foreground but impossible to get there. Sometimes a boat would be handy.

I know that area fairly well and looks to me like a section of the Turon River on the Bridle Trail out of Hill End. Ring a bell?
Could possibly be one of a couple of sections along Upper Turon River Road but that seems less likely.
