  • Seascapes and a poodle!

Found a little spot down the beach where waves came up and over and make a little stream.
It was a very golden sunset and so with the reflection thought it had some potential for a nice sunset pic.

I was squatting taking the above shot when I felt a nudge in the back and heard some laughter..a little poodle (that you can just make out with the couple in the distance) was checking out my butt. So for the first time I have put in an image of a poodle that I actually didn't steal from someone else.

Haven't been there, not done that.

They are both gorgeous shots Jo and i do like the semi silhouetted couple (and poodle) being in the frame to give it some scale. Pity you didn't get the couples details, I reckon they would love that on their wall. I always carry a card in my wallet, just in case. And it's on more than one occasion that people have ordered a print (or two). Anyway, this gets an Isac Wall Hanger Award.

They come up really well. It's interesting to see how a change in frame colour brings out various colours more or less. I have given photos away when people ask for them. I have never thought to actually have cards or charge anyone. Mmmm. All donations to BIrd Australia maybe :-)

      Beautiful light - wonderful result

As Charles is want to say - Few photos cannot be improved by the inclusion of a Poodle.

      Welcome to the club

I feel very privileged to be a part, although my poodle is a diminutive butt sniffer. You have to start somewhere.

      Bella here,

Alan, Charles may think he knows everything, but he doesn't. I told him the one about any photo being improved by adding a poodle anyway. He stole that idea from me. Typical.

Jo, unless the poodle is the main thing in the photo, it just doesn't count. That little dot next to those people could be any sort of mutt.

Rather disappointing effort. Sorry, but you will have to try harder next time to come up to standard.

As I like to say to Alan, "Don't give up yet."

PS Charles says he really likes #2, colors, textures, light, foreground.
      Charles

My indecision is final, I think.

Well...fine...I'm taking my poodle and going home then. Although I suppose it could just as well be a dog poop as be a poodle, such is its proportions.

      Lovely images Jo.

(I think Bella just gets jealous when other poodles steal her limelight, but I'd never say that out loud.)

I suggest you shouldn't write it either, because when Bella reads what you just wrote..all Cerberus will break out.

Nice shots Jo. #2 being my favourite.
      Cheers, Brad.

Thanks Ironwood, your opinion is appreciated. :-)

Stunning colours Jo - #2 for me. Bella is just never satisfied with anyone's attempts at poodles unless they are front and centre and the main focal point.

Thank you PP but really, if a poodle is worth their weight they will automatically steal the scene. ;-)
