Moving house is one of the most stressful events most people have to deal with Alan, it rates just behind death of a loved one and divorce.
I spent ten years in the industry and dealing with distraught clients was a common event. Hope things are settling down for you.
Lovely images and well presented.
Beaches are wonderful places to relax and enjoy life, ask any poodle. Ok, maybe not so much relax from a poodle point of view but you get my drift.
Nice to see you back on the boards, you have been missed.-----------------------------------------------------

Thanks Mick,
We sold, (and moved stuff ourselves from), two houses and bought another one this year. Settlement on 'Caralan' just occurred, so we fall exhausted over the finishing line.
Champagne open to celebrate the start of a new permanent life at 'The Ambassador on the Beach'
Hopefully I'll have bit more time to spend enjoying the Forum and getting back into photography.
Cheers

Mr Ambassador, it's good to hear that you can now celebrate after your move. Mick paints a grim picture of moves. I shudder to think what I will do when the big day comes. Nothing planned yet, but I ain't getting any younger. I'm hoping to clean out a couple of double garages over summer, and it's going to involve a pretty big skip to remove some rubbish - formerly known as my collected essential treasures.
Lovely work here, and beautifully reflects the simplicity, peace and relaxation now in your new life!Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

After 43 moves in 59 years (keeping in mind I've lived in Broome for nearly twenty years, one address) and working in the removals industry I like to think I've finally got a handle on this moving caper.
The entire contents of my home, excluding camera gear, tv and computer would now fit in two boxes with room to spare. There's some camping gear and hand tools and that's it.
All furniture is hand-me-down junk and easily disposed of. I could pack up and be gone by lunchtime.
My motto these days is,' if it wont fit in the ute it ain't coming with me'.
I would like a bigger ute though.-----------------------------------------------------

Glad to hear everything seems to have gone to plan Alan and you now have time to relax and enjoy your surrounds. I haven't moved for years but think I need to as this would definitely mean a good clean out. Wish I could adopt Mick's philosophy - even 6 boxes would be good We met a surprising number of caravanners during our trip who have sold up and now travel permanently in their van - that would certainly curtail accumulating unnecessary possessions.
