In a semi-desert environment any tree is a winner but Rudall appears to have quite a range of beautiful specimens.

Limited scope for composition here, place the tree on a third line and that's about it so background becomes crucial. I took plenty of images where I didn't paid enough attention to the background and have been kicking myself for my slackness. So important to put in the extra effort folks.

Watch your background should be the takeaway from this image Gabby. Find a tree, then look past it and see how you can place it in the landscape. I got it right here, but mostly I stuffed up through not taking enough time and not thinking my way through the composition.
