The Storm Passes

The storm just missed Moruya Heads. I stuffed up the first pano with the iPhone and had to take another photo, and in that short time the Rainbow lost a lot of it's brilliance.

Looks very dramatic Caralan, pity you missed the best of the rainbow.

Its amazing what can be done with a phone these days

Yep, that's a ripper.

Lovely balance to the composition, foreground provides a good anchor for the image.

Like the processing too.

I like the drama of the scene Alan - dark and stormy and the colours and dark shadows in the foreground are evening the image up as well. If you want to borrow some rainbow images, I've got some laying about in a folder somewhere.

Sometimes you really need one to appear and lift your spirits, and to reinforce the fact that the world really is unique and worth saving

Lovely shot. Sorry I missed getting a shot of Moruya Heads (raining when we visited it). I'm actually missing all the clouds we had in NSW - hit Qld yesterday, clear blue skies and soooo hot.
