  • A few from a trip to Burra

A really nice place to go if you like all things old. Used to be a mining town and still has a pit from the old mining days.

Was there earlier in the year (May) and will be back again later this month. Took heaps of pics. Tried one the same as you of the church but felt the wires ruined it. Not as noticeable in yours. Most important place in town is the Cornish Pastry place.

Looks like an interesting place Phil, I particularly like the b&w.

I too like the old blacksmith shop, suits the b&w treatment. The tree across from the left seems to lessen the impact of the electricity lines in front of the church and the goal looks suitably bleak.
Would like to see them bigger though.

          Hi Terry

Ate there about four times during the three days I was there. Very nice food, but they only open most days till about 3:00pm and I would have enjoyed an evening meal there. As it was one day I was there for brunch and then a really late lunch to ensure that I was stocked up for the rest of the night!
