Coral Bay, Western Australia

I just spent the last week in heaven on earth. It was a week strait of 40+C degries. Swam with manta rays , reef sharks, turtles and fish. This is the main beach less than 100 meters from where i was staying....

I worked up that way for a few years, place is full of wonder and your images do well to give a glimpse into how beautiful the place is. Makes me think though, how we could all enjoy this sort of wonder, everywhere, if we all protected our fish.

I am a 98% catch and release fisherman and wouldn't have the heart to touch one of these,

what lovely shots and fantastic place.

I live walking distance from the beach and rarely go in it but this is a whole different ball game, I would be shrivelled like a prune after a week here!

this is the stuff I want to see in a travel brochure!

Stunning! #2 with the white sand leading to the deeper blue then the dunes in the background is perfect.

So very true hey! Im a hardcore fisherman and i understand that theuy need to protect these locations I could imagine of they let people fish there for just one day they all would be gone

Yep me too, i dont eat fish, just keep a few for the girlfriend and family but i C&R most that i catch. I fished just outside the protected area and didnt catch much, these fish know where its safe lol

Not something you want to see under you while snorkelling!!! Spotted this 4 meter Tiger shark under me while watching the Manta rays. Snapped a few shots while i was there

From the beach the Coral is so close!!! This is the best thing about Coral cay, no need to travel right out to it...

Beaut series and you caught the underwater elements well. Can't beat a bit of clear water!.. What about that Tiger though!!
