Wow, I like this idea, the colours work well together ...I've said it before, but I'd normally walk past something like this and never give it a second thought.
What if there were no Hypothetical questions?
CC always welcomed, feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time - Thanks.

I'd be very reluctant to put my DSLR down on the sand - but had no worries about putting the waterproof Coolpix there, esp as I knew what it's lens could do at such close range.

I wasn't familiar with Max Dupain's image, thanks for sharing that.
And I certainly agree that blue and yellow would be preferable to the current choice.
I love a sunburnt country doesn't ring true with one of the national colours being green.
(What a wonderful thread that was!)
The second image I captured with my first camera was wattle against the impossibly blue sky at Marble Bar. The wattle was hopelessly oof but let's not dwell on that, sky detail was perfect!
The first image was of my guitar...an image I proceeded to massacre and totally destroy in photoshop. Those were the days.
Ahhh memories, so happy I have managed to retain at least a few, now, where was I...
Oh yes, wonderful image Alan.-----------------------------------------------------
