I wasn't looking for it but I snapped off a few, does this shot work composition wise?

Pity the guy didn't have his hands up above his head, you could have put the sun between them and have it in his hands!
Composition is always a bit subjective and what some people like, others won't.
I'm one of those who gets either an instant 'like' or a feeling of unbalance in a shot. I quite like all of what you've done in your edits but having all of the points of interest central will not appeal to everybody.
Having the boats and channel marker in the shot as well, tells something of a story and adds to the interest. It makes you think about the relationship between the guy in the water and the other points of interest in the shot. It fits well with Jo's competition "Juxtaposition". Maybe you can look at it again from the original and put an entry in.
Just an other general point about where best to post. A shot you would like input or constructive criticism on may well get a better response posted in "Pick it to Pieces". (But that doesn't always happen either)
Cheers and keep up the good work!

Marios, I like how you have played with the images to create something with a strong subject, which I believe gives the best impact.
The man with the setting sun works for me. Might be worth playing with the man on the left rule of thirds and the sun to the right rule of thirds.
