No impressive sunrises as too much low cloud and fog every morning but still a great view to enjoy.

How nice!
Top shot and a stunning place to sit and soak it in to boot!
I love the closer heavy rain breaking the rainbow in the distance as it makes it real and gives the capture a lot of depth perspective to me.
It makes me want to pour a black coffee and add a dash of bourbon with honey and sit right back.I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks Mick. I do have the Nik software - will give the detail extractor a go. I often find uploading here changes the appearance of my images a little.
Thanks Greg - we stayed at a place overlooking the valley and loved the view.
Thanks Bill - we had lots of cloud but most of the rain stayed down in the valley.

I know it is a bit after the fact, but
I love this shot the more I see it,
I only use the windows software at the moment but would wind the contrast down a lil and the saturation up a tad,
you want the rainbow to be the proverbial dogs-b_lls in this shot
here is my average pp of the jpeg off the screen just to show where I was thinking but only as an example of where I was thinking,
I hope you are Ok with me playing!

Dear PPlates
Someone has accused of plagiarizing the above edit and using it as my own on flickr,
I posted my edit to flickr then used the BB share option to link it to this thread above,
It has been up for 24 hrs and I usually leave it there for 48hrs before removing it as the image instantly disappears from this thread.
I have used flikr this way for 2 years and always remove others images after 48 hrs if they are not mine!
this is the conversation for your info and I offer it to you so that you see I am genuine.

I would never claim anothers capture as my own and you can see my acknowledgement to Doug for his B+W edit of my capture of the Largs Jetty in my flickr page
I will happily remove the edit from your thread PPlates right now if you wish or after the 48 hrs that I normally do ( phone reminder works every time).
