  • More smokey sunset shots

Had another go at my 'heading home' shot using luminosity masks and also processed another one.

Looking good Gabby, haven't tried playing with luminosity masks yet, best I do some research shortly.

Bit undecided about the star burst effect in the 2nd but like how you've tied it in using highlights on the foreground.

They work really well and if interested Jimmy McIntyre has a set of actions you can download for free. Saves having to make your own luminosity masks.

I love 'em. #2 for me. If the sun was on rule of thirds top line, it would be even better IMHO. I do like the post processing.

Thanks Gaz and Isac. I just loved the effect on the sky, pity there was nothing much to use as foreground interest.

Lots to like about both shots, But I find the 2nd one the most eye catching.
