G'day all
We're currently in Tassie and have spent a couple of days with seaslug / Greg ... he's nicer in person than his avatar !!!
Anyway, we went up into the hills behind Devonport and here's two from there
1- Dolomite columns rising upwards - from volcanic activity many [many] years ago
exif- Panny G2; 1/200s x f5,6; 14-140 @ 26mm [55mm ff-equiv]; iso-100
2- One of many very steep-sided valleys ~ I always ponder how the original explorers made their way thru these areas
exif- Panny G2; 1/250s x f5,0; 14-140 @ 14mm [28mm ff-equiv]; iso-100
One interesting thing I noted as we were doing our side-by-side shooting, is that Greg's image from #1 location has detail in the sky whereas mine is washed out
Querying 'how come' the cunning fella revealed his secret weapon ... that he liked using in-camera HDR for this sort of landscape. Hmmm - ya learn something every day
Don't tell him that I've passed on his trade secret
As always, comments & feedback welcome
Phil
