The sea was still angry this morning .....

...and the poodles were happy getting in the way and mucking up the sand...

I like the many layers in image one, along with the intense sense of wave action.
Always great when the birds add a living element to a scene.
A good sense of depth in two. it does show however why a light coloured dog is more photogenic than a black one.

Haven't been there, not done that.

Bella won't think the poodles are in the way at all. Love the wave action - with the reef at our door it's not something we see up this way.

Not wanting to upset the poodles...but the power and the action in the 1st is a winner!

What if there were no Hypothetical questions?
CC always welcomed, feel free to post your ideas with an edit if you have time - Thanks.

#1 for me too, had a similar scene ready to post as well.. not as good as yours, so I'll hang on to it for a bit longer.

Thanks Jo - the photo is actually a mixture of 5 different exposures - just trying to capture the best of all of them. And yes, a pure black dog is very hard to photograph, esp on a white beach

You are right Gabby, Bella won't be pleased that I consider the poodles 'in the way', I guess Charles must have changed his passwords so she can't surf the interweb and comment any more

Thanks Gaz, the poodles have taken on board your comments, but have sulked off to bed. It's ok - they will have forgotten about it tomorrow.
