  • Wreck on Coogee beach

Well another really early start thismorning. Arrived at the wreck first light but lighting wasnt good at all. I had to wait till around 7.30 till enough light lit up the wreck.Put on the big stopper and grad filter for a 200 sec exposure. Love getting the water so silky smoth.
    CC welcome...

I prefer the composition of #2. Personally I would prefer just a bit shorter exposure or maybe a lower tide so the misty water doesn't hide quite as much of the wreck.

Very interesting effect, something I would never have thought of!
"Will have to try and store this in the back of the brain for next time I'm next to the coast"

      Thanks.

What if there were no Hypothetical questions?

Thanks mate , yeah tide was just about peaked so i must go back at low tide whick will help. I like the real long exposures as it gets a nice sharp horison and silky smooth water behind. May go down at sunset with just the grad and do a 1 -2 sec exposures to get water movement aswell
